Today, Buick unveiled Xiao Yao Zhi Xing, its industry-leading assisted driving technology co-developed with Momenta, as its new energy sub-brand Electra made its debut at the 28th Chengdu International Auto Show.
Over the next eight months, Buick will launch five new energy models based on the Xiao Yao architecture, led by the Electra L7 smart luxury sedan.
Equipped with the Xiao Yao Zhi Xing assisted driving system, the Electra L7 will offer “non-breakpoint” urban NOA (navigation on autopilot), enabling seamless navigation through city roads, handling scenarios such as cut-ins, roundabouts, pedestrian crossings, and lane changes. At highway ETC tollgates, the system can automatically recognize gates and maintain stable driving even without lane markings.
The Electra L7 will also debut the industry’s first “non-stop parking assist,” which detects available spaces in real time and executes automated parking while the vehicle is in motion—removing the need to stop and manually activate the process.
Looking ahead, these capabilities will be continuously enhanced via OTA updates, ensuring the Electra L7 remains at the forefront of intelligent mobility. The model will make its public debut in September.
