SHANGHAI — Cadillac today announced the launch of the LYRIQ-V in China. Priced at RMB 399,900 and limited to 124 units, the LYRIQ-V is the first Cadillac’s V-Series localized in China and brings together performance, craftsmanship and safety in a luxury electric SUV.

As Cadillac marks its 124th anniversary and a milestone year with its entry into Formula 1, the LYRIQ-V reflects the brand’s racing heritage in an all-electric expression.

“LYRIQ-V brings the spirit of Cadillac V-Series into a new era for China,” said Will Stacy, vice president of Cadillac in China. “It expresses the V-Series DNA and craftsmanship that define Cadillac, while delivering a distinctly electric driving experience for customers who expect both excitement and refinement.”

At the core of the LYRIQ-V is a silicon carbide dual-motor all-wheel-drive system featuring segment-leading technologies such as dual-sided water cooling and segmented magnets. The system delivers peak output of 465 kW and peak torque of 863 Nm, enabling 0-100 km/h acceleration in 3.3 seconds and making LYRIQ-V the fastest Cadillac in China.

The LYRIQ-V also benefits from V-Series-exclusive chassis reinforcement and tuning developed in part through testing at Milford Proving Ground. Front and rear high-rigidity five-link independent suspension, Brembo six-piston brakes, 21-inch lightweight flow-formed wheels and V-tuned Continuous Damping Control dampers work together to balance precise handling with everyday ride comfort.

To further elevate the driving experience, the LYRIQ-V offers three driver-focused functions, which can be activated through the V-Mode button on the steering wheel. A V-exclusive performance cluster interface and signature sound tuning help create a more immersive and engaging drive.

As Cadillac’s first all-electric V-Series SUV, the LYRIQ-V combines advanced design, aerodynamic efficiency and premium materials. The vehicle measures 5,013 mm in length, 1,977 mm in width and 1,627 mm in height, with a 3,094 mm wheelbase. Its low, wide stance is complemented by a V-Series aerodynamic package that includes a large front splitter, side air guides, rear diffuser and aerodynamic rear spoiler to support high-speed stability.

The LYRIQ-V is offered in an exclusive grey exterior finish with a nanoscale matte treatment. Inside, the cabin features V-exclusive front sport seats wrapped in Fine Nappa full-grain leather, with adjustable side bolsters, memory, heating, ventilation and massage functions. A 23-speaker AKG audio system with Dolby Atmos adds four overhead speakers to create a 7.1.4 immersive listening experience.

Safety remains a core foundation of the LYRIQ-V. The vehicle uses a cage-style body structure with 17 horizontal and 10 vertical load paths, while high-strength steel and above account for 74.8% of the body structure. The battery pack uses enhanced protective materials, with 99.9% high-strength steel and above, underscoring Cadillac’s continued focus on safety in electric mobility.

Customers in China can order the LYRIQ-V through Cadillac’s authorized dealers nationwide, as well as through the official Cadillac app and mini program.
