Meet Baojun’s Xiang Jing Intelligent Flagship Sedan
SAIC-GM-Wuling’s Baojun brand has unveiled its first intelligent flagship sedan. The Xiang Jing reflects Baojun's commitment to the continual elevation of the technology and performance of its lineup.
The Xiang Jing will be offered with all-electric (EV) and plug-in hybrid (PHEV) variants. It has a length of 5,005 millimeters, width of 1,900 millimeters, height of 1,490 millimeters (EV)/1,505 millimeters (PHEV), and wheelbase of 2,900 millimeters. These dimensions give it the spaciousness and agility of a sedan.
As an intelligent flagship model, the Xiang Jing has been designed for the mainstream market. It will meet the diverse needs of urban commuters, from young families to elites, for high-quality travel.
The first part of its name, Xiang (or enjoy), not only aligns with consumers' aspirations for an enhanced quality of life but also embodies a pleasant and comfortable experience. This represents Baojun’s belief that every user should appreciate the joy of life facilitated by the brand’s technology advances.
Jing (or territory) signifies the brand's new direction and a significant step forward in product development. It also symbolizes Baojun’s commitment to walk hand in hand with progressive individuals to create an enhanced quality of life.
Yesterday, SAIC-GM-Wuling celebrated the production of the first Xiang Jing at its LIM plant in Liuzhou, Guangxi. It was the 800,000th new energy vehicle built by the joint venture in 2024.
