Shanghai – The Wuling Sunshine multi-purpose electric vehicle, the newest member of SAIC-GM-Wuling’s original nameplate, has arrived. Two variants, the Standard and the Comfort, are available at Wuling dealerships nationwide at a price of RMB 47,800 and RMB 50,800 respectively.
The Sunshine EV has a distinct body with a length of 3,685 millimeters, width of 1,530 millimeters, height of 1,765 millimeters, and wheelbase of 2,600 millimeters. It is highly versatile, providing an extensive range of options to meet the individual needs of modern entrepreneurs for space, loading and carrying cargo, and travel.
Key features include:
- Expandability: The Sunshine EV comes with 20 M6 standard threaded mounting holes, providing an ample amount of expandable storage space.
- Flexible seating: The front passenger seat and rear seats can be fully folded flat, giving the Sunshine EV a customizable seating and space layout with up to 1,117 liters of cargo-carrying capacity.
- External power discharge: The cabin supports 220-volt AC external power discharge. Its power output of up to 3.3 kW makes it suitable for daily electrical appliances. Additionally, it has two 12-volt DC power outlets in the front and rear compartments, with maximum discharge power of 120 watts, for small power appliances like live streaming lights and car refrigerators.
- Ergonomic design: The 2,070-mm luggage rack on the roof offers an additional 2.4 square meters of storage area, which is ideal for camping and other outdoor activities. The rear door has a square opening with an area of over a square meter. It opens to nearly 90 degrees, making it easy to load and unload large items. The double-side sliding door design takes convenience to the next level.
- Safety: The high-strength cage body structure uses 1,500 Mpa high-strength hot-formed steel to reinforce key areas, ensuring safety as well as stability. The real-time cloud-based battery management system alerts users within 2 seconds in case of thermal runaway.
